It will be an exclusive responsibility of the webmaster of Homocine and his collaborators the decision of the nominations to the best films and TV series of the year. 6.2. Except for lack of candidates, all the categories, both those of films or TV, will have five nominees. 6.3. Homocine denies any previous relationship with the candidates and chooses the nominations with independence and own criteria. 7. About the votation. 7.1. The visitors of Homocine will decide with their votes the best films and TV series of the year, within those which have received a nomination. 7.2. To do so, a unique votation form will be available from the official website of Gayo Awards, by means of which the visitors will be able to submit their votes. 7.3. This form will be active during a period of votation, whose duration will be specified in the official announcement of the Awards, and which by no means will be shorter than one month. 7.4. If the organizers of the Awards decide so, the period of votation could be enlarged, depending of the amount of votes received in the initially established period. 7.5. Only the votes submitted from the official form will be admitted as valid. 7.6. The copy of this form to use it in another website without an express consent of the webmaster will be considered as fraudulent, and those votes will be looked on as not valid. 7.7. No votes sent directly to the email of the webmaster of Homocine will be valid either. 8. About the voters. 8.1. In order to be able to vote, you just need to fill in the votation form located at the official website of the Gayo Awards. The indication of the full name and a valid email is mandatory. 8.2. After the votation, a non-automatic email of confirmation will be sent to the previously indicated address. 8.3. In case this email corresponds to an unknown or wrong address, or in case the voter's name is missing or proven to be fake, these votes will be considered as not valid. 8.4. Only one vote per person will be accepted in every Gayo Award period of votation. 8.5. In case that the same person has voted with two or more different email addresses or if two different people have voted with the same email address or IP, those votes will be considered as not valid. 8.6. Only the votes submitted within the period of votation will be admitted. 9. About the transparency of the voting process. 9.1. Homocine will use all the technological means within its reach to check that no voters' names, nor email adresses nor IP addresses are repeated. However, any intentional manipulation of the votes by means of any technique (such as for example creating new valid email addresses or using fake names, among others), will not be able to be detected nor blocked. Therefore the results of the votations are not be considered as strictly scientific or absolute, but they should only reflect the way of thinking of the visitors of Homocine, who have decided to employ a couple of minutes to fill in the voting form. 9.2. Nowadays it is out of reach for Homocine to guarantee 100% that every single person has voted once and only once in a certain edition of the Awards. Due to the non-professional character of this web and the intentions of opinion poll of Gayo Awards, limited due to the typical security constraints of any voting made through the Internet, Homocine declines to make any comment about the winners and advocates the transparency, the cleanness and the good faith of the voters, who are in fact visitors of Homocine. 10. About the winners. 10.1. Once the period of votation has finished, the winners will be given out at the official website of the Gayo Awards. 10.2. Winning a Gayo Award does not imply to obtain any kind of economic prize or any other compensation from Homocine. 10.3. Homocine rejects categorically any attempt of fraud, deceipt or manipulation of the voting process, as well as any act of libelling toward the winners, the nominees, the voters or the webmaster of this web. This kind of contemptible behaviour spoils the spirit surrounding these Awards, which is to provide the visitors of Homocine with the opportunity to vote freely the very best in LGTB Cinema and Television of the year. |
